Prospect HS Small Gym - Wednesday, May 25th during lunch (12:10-12:45pm) and after school (2:30-6pm). Guestbook will be available to sign. All are welcome.
Attention all student athletes: The new physical forms are now available in the main office and online on the school website under Athletics. Remember, you will need a new physical that is dated after June 3rd for next year's sports. Please check the website for when the doctor will be on campus over the summer and right before school starts in order to get yours taken care of well before your season begins.
Yearbook Distribution: If you purchased an ASB card at the beginning of the year, you have already purchased a yearbook and will need to pick it up at one of the distribution days, below. Bring your ASB card as proof that you purchased the yearbook. If you did not purchase an ASB card, you may purchase a yearbook for $100 (cash or checks payable to: Prospect Yearbook) on one of the distribution days below.
· Monday, May 23rd 2:30-3:00pm. Pick up your yearbook in the lunch lines after school.
· Tuesday, May 24th - Friday, May 27th. Come to Room 3 at break, lunch, and after school until 2:45pm to pick up your yearbook.
· During Finals: Yearbooks can be picked up/purchased from the Activities Office at break and after finals.
· During Summer: Yearbooks can be picked up/purchased in the Main Office during summer office hours.

Hey there Panthers! We are happy to announce two great students who are being recognized this week as being Caught in the Act! Both students are easygoing with a willingness to help others without being asked. Chloe Kocher, a sophomore with a full schedule of honors classes. She is friendly and willing to take time to assist others. Dilan Rivera Martinez is a junior this year. Dilan's teachers report that he is helpful to others and makes it a pleasure to have him in the class. Prospect is fortunate to have students like Dilan and Chloe who are friendly and willing to help others. It is just one reason that students and staff feel welcome here.
Congratulations to Dasha Cocol and Tony Ngo for being named April Athletes of the Month! Tony is currently undefeated in badminton and is moving on to league finals as the number one seed in doubles. Dasha is the 2016 Santa Teressa BVAL individual champion for both the 200 Freestyle and 50 Freestyle. She helped her 200yd Medley team take 1st and the 200yd Freestyle Relay also take 1st at BVALs on Saturday. Dasha has qualified for CCS in the following Individual events: 500FR, 200FR, 100FR, and 50FR and she helped her relay teams qualify for CCS in the 200 Medley, 200FR, and 400FR Relay.
Students interested in a career in law enforcement should sign up with the Sheriff's Office Teen Academy. This 2-week summer program is a hands-on academy designed to provide students with an inside look at the various aspects of law enforcement. The classes are informative, inspirational, and fun! Classes for the 2016 Summer Teen Academy will be held from June 21st to June 30th from 9:00am-4:00pm. Pick up an application package in the Student Service Center. Applications are due no later than June 1st.
